Our Annual Spring Networking & Benefit Event is nearly upon us! Come see our finished education video for our Honduras project, our current project in Rwanda building a portable tile press, and our future plans.
As students, we have dedicated significant time and energy to our projects but adding professional expertise can make the work exceptional. Mentors are critical in helping us develop the real-world skill sets to take on these challenges and create a valuable, sustainable impact in the areas we work. We would love for you to come meet us and learn more about EWB as you enjoy food and drink in the company of other professionals and faculty members. Our 3rd Annual Networking & Benefit Event will be held on Tuesday, May 26th from 6 to 9pm in the SCU Nobili Dining Hall. There will be a presentation, guest speakers, and a raffle. Please RSVP here!
To give you a better idea of how we stand out from other groups on campus, our projects are fully student-driven and student-managed, providing our students with an understanding of the design process and project management beyond the typical university experience. We work with communities around the world (most recently Rwanda and Honduras) on large scale projects from assessment through design to implementation. The national organization which we are proud to be a part of, EWB, is a non-profit, humanitarian organization that works with communities to help them meet their most basic human needs through sustainable engineering design solution.
